Each and every commissioned piece of art from North Roots Collective is unique and tailored to the requests of the commissioner. Each commission varies in price depending on the complexity of the order.
For your convenience I have a Commission Quote form set up in order to be as accurate as possible. For your benefit, please review my terms and conditions before requesting a quote.
Payment
• All payment should be in USD, through paypal or my Etsy account.
• All payment should be made through invoice method. I will invoice you. DO NOT send me any payment, it will be refunded.
• Payment is due in full and upfront. I will not start your commission without payment.
• There are no refunds on completed work. A partial refund is only possible if the piece has not been completed yet.
Me, the Artist
By commissioning me, you’re purchasing my artistic labor. I retain all copyrights over my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, or use the image as a sample for sales/self-promotion, unless otherwise agreed upon.
• I reserve the right to post your finished commission on my website and any of my social media accounts.
• I reserve the right to reject your commission proposal without explanation.
• I reserve the right to take the time I need to complete your commission unless a time-frame is agreed upon beforehand.
• I reserve the right to raise or lower my prices as I see fit.
You, the Customer
As the commissioner, you have many freedoms with the art you are receiving from me. However, there are a few restrictions.
• You may not claim the work as yours, edit it in any way, or set it up for redistribution (resale, merchandise of any kind, etc).
• Your commissioned artwork is for personal / private use only. You may not use it for any external projects; commercial or non-commercial unless agreed upon.
• You may not resell your commissioned piece.
• If you are not sure whether your request counts as personal, feel free to ask me about its intended use!
Procedure
• I will begin work on your art commission only after payment is received and all terms are agreed upon for both parties. Additional requests are only taken before work has started on your piece.
• A single sketch can be seen upon request for pose reference only; multiple sketch options are an additional charge of $5 - $10 USD each depending on the size and complexity of the commission.
• Make sure you are specific with your reference images and requests! Completed art will not be redrawn without a charge or repurchase.
• You will be notified upon completion and updated with shipping information, including a tracking number. This will be via email for your records and mine.
